Imagine arriving onsite to a chiller that’s underperforming. You methodically check gauges, verify controls, and trace the issue to a failing component. Your impact

• Maintain chiller equipment with scheduled service to prevent downtime.
• Diagnose issues on operational systems using precise testing tools and your expertise.
• Repair or replace components to return equipment to specification.
• Install, maintain, and repair industrial refrigeration systems: refrigerant handling, instrumentation, control valves, motors, motor controls, motor switch gear, Variable Frequency Drives (VFD’s), soft-starts, pumps, exchangers, filters, and refrigeration controllers.
• Uphold strict safety practices aligned with company and industry standards.
• Take on additional assigned tasks to support team goals.
• Provide overtime support when requested—up to 15% annually (no more than 300 hours)—as directed by the client and/or upper management.

How you’ll succeed

• Stay composed and effective in fast-moving, occasionally high-pressure situations.
• Apply excellent problem-solving and analytical judgment.
• Leverage extensive knowledge of chiller systems and components.
• Use power and hand tools confidently and correctly.
• Operate thermometers, pressure gauges, and other diagnostic instruments to evaluate equipment.
• Interpret operation and repair manuals accurately.
• Follow instructions thoroughly and communicate clearly with customers.

Your background

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Technical school training or apprenticeship preferred.
• Approximately three years of relevant experience preferred.

Working conditions

• Outdoor work as required by the task.
• Extended periods in a stationary position.
• Ability to climb/descend ladders.
• Capability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
