Industrial Quotes Coordinator

1–2 years of experience in quoting, inside sales, customer service, or a related field preferred. Communicate professionally with customers, vendors, sales teams, and internal departments.

 

Location: Houston, TX (South Loop East – 6201 South Loop East)


Pay: $22.00–$24.00/hour Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:30 PM Assignment Length: Approximately 3–4 months

 

Responsibilities

• 
  Research industrial products and identify qualified suppliers.
  
• 
  Build and maintain vendor contacts for assigned product lines.
  
• 
  Obtain pricing, lead times, and product information from vendors.
  
• 
  Prepare and submit customer quote and bid packages.
  
• 
  Communicate professionally with customers, vendors, sales teams, and internal departments.
  
• 
  Negotiate pricing with suppliers to achieve cost savings when appropriate.
  
• 
  Assist with strategic sourcing initiatives and process improvements.
  
• 
  Ensure deadlines are met while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  
• 
  Develop strong product knowledge to support customer requirements.
  
• 
  Follow all company policies and procedures.
  

Qualifications

• 
  2-year degree or equivalent work experience.
  
• 
  1–2 years of experience in quoting, inside sales, customer service, or a related field preferred.
  
• 
  Strong research and problem-solving skills.
  
• 
  Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  
• 
  Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills.
