Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Lead production scheduling, planning, and execution to meet customer and business objectives.
- Manage plant maintenance programs, including preventive maintenance and equipment reliability initiatives.
- Provide leadership to production supervisors, lead operators, mechanics, and support personnel.
- Oversee capital projects, contractor activities, and facility improvement efforts.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, efficiency, quality, and productivity.
- Monitor operational metrics and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.
- Support ERP-related planning and operational reporting activities.

The Successful Applicant
Ideal Candidate:
- 5-10 years of manufacturing leadership experience in a production, operations, plant management, or maintenance leadership role.
- Experience managing both production and maintenance functions within a manufacturing environment.
- Background in process manufacturing, including operations involving wet processes, milling, slurry handling, pumps, bulk materials, chemicals, minerals, aggregates, food processing, or similar industries.
- Strong process-focused mindset with a history of improving operational performance.
- Demonstrated project management experience, including capital projects and contractor coordination.
- ERP experience and strong organizational skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical discipline preferred.
- Hands-on, approachable leadership style with the ability to thrive in a smaller manufacturing setting.
