    Step onto the shop floor where variety is the norm. As an Industrial Print Systems Fabrication Technician, your day moves through different cells of a manufacturing environment dedicated to building industrial printing equipment for envelope and commercial printing applications. You won’t be anchored to a single station — instead, you’ll rotate through forming, finishing, thermal processing, and assembly to help deliver custom-built machines on schedule.

    What a day can look like

    • Set up and run press brakes and other metal fabrication equipment to form precise components.
    • Switch over to finishing: use grinders and a range of hand and power tools to deburr, smooth, and prep parts.
    • Stage assemblies and run parts through the industrial oven, carefully loading, unloading, and monitoring cycles.
    • Move into assembly to help build industrial printing machinery, following work instructions and measurements.
    • Verify parts meet production specifications, inspecting each piece for accuracy and quality.
    • Float between machines and work areas as priorities shift, assisting with material handling and general shop duties.
    • Keep your workspace tidy and safe, contributing to a clean, organized environment.
    • Coordinate with the production team to complete custom equipment and hit deadlines.

    What you bring

    • Background in manufacturing or machine operation.
    • Experience with press brakes is a plus.
    • Hands-on skill with grinding, deburring, or metal finishing.
    • Metal fabrication experience; ability to use hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices confidently.
    • Exposure to CNC or manual machining is a plus.
    • Forklift or overhead crane experience is a plus.
    • Mechanically inclined and eager to learn multiple processes and pieces of equipment.
