Description

Industrial Press Technician

Location: Grand Rapids, MI | Pay: $19.50/hour | Shift: To be discussed | Start: Immediately

Integrity Trade Services is bringing on an experienced Press Operator right away at $19.50 per hour. Receive comprehensive benefits through ITS upon hire and get paid weekly.

A day in this role

You arrive, review the work order, and set up the press for the run ahead. Materials are staged and loaded so production can kick off smoothly. As parts move, you monitor performance, fine-tune settings, and check dimensions to protect quality. Between lots, you complete light maintenance and keep the area organized to our safety standards. Throughout the shift, you capture production and quality data, communicate any variances, and follow all work and safety instructions.

What you’ll handle

  • Configure and run press and related production equipment per specifications and procedures
  • Load, unload, and stage raw materials and components for each run
  • Track process performance and quality, meeting targets for output and standards
  • Adjust machine settings to sustain quality, efficiency, and throughput
  • Accurately record inspections, production counts, and any process changes
  • Perform routine care: cleaning, lubrication, filter swaps, and preventative tasks
  • Keep work area clean, orderly, and compliant with safety expectations
  • Escalate equipment issues, defects, or variances to supervision promptly
  • Follow all work instructions, quality procedures, and safety rules
  • Support additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Comfort reading work instructions, spec cards, and production paperwork
  • Basic math and measurement skills to verify dimensions and log quality data
  • Ability to safely operate production machinery and use common hand tools
  • Capability to lift materials, stand for long periods, and work in a manufacturing setting
