About the Role

Join our team in El Paso, TX as a licensed Industrial Journeyman Electrician. You’ll keep high-demand operations running smoothly by ensuring our electrical infrastructure is safe, reliable, and optimized.

A Day in the Life

• Kick off with a safety huddle and review priority work orders and schematics.
• Install and commission circuits, panels, and equipment across the facility, bending conduit to spec as needed.
• Track down faults quickly to minimize downtime and restore service.
• Partner with maintenance teammates to plan shutdowns and coordinate repairs.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to keep systems within code and manufacturer guidelines.
• Document work performed and parts used so records are accurate and audit-ready.
• Stay sharp on evolving codes, standards, and industry best practices.

Core Responsibilities

• Install, service, and repair industrial electrical systems and equipment.
• Troubleshoot issues using meters, schematics, and systematic diagnostics to reduce unplanned outages.
• Execute scheduled inspections and PM tasks to extend equipment life.
• Interpret and apply blueprints, single-line diagrams, and technical drawings.
• Comply with electrical codes and all site safety procedures at all times.
• Collaborate closely with other maintenance disciplines to support facility goals.
• Complete detailed maintenance logs and repair reports.
• Keep current with new electrical technologies and industry trends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a journeyman electrician program preferred.
• Valid electrician’s license; active Texas Journeyman credential strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in an industrial electrician role.
• Deep knowledge of wiring methods, electrical theory, and safety protocols.
• Ability to read and apply technical documentation and blueprints.
• Strong troubleshooting mindset with excellent attention to detail.
• Clear communicator and reliable team contributor.
• Willing to work flexible hours and respond to emergency calls when needed.
