Industrial Painter

Summary:

• Shift: 2nd, 2PM-10:30PM

Responsibilities:

• Paint parts and units and/or guide the loading of products onto the paint conveyor.
• Ensure proper part flow, sequence, and quality to meet assembly line and customer requirements.
• Hang parts and kits on paint line in sequence according to direction from planning and scheduling department.
• Operate lift and burn-off oven.
• Set-up, operate, and maintain automatic powder booths and shut down paint line equipment.
• Check completed parts to ensure compliance with Worcester Plant Quality standards and make necessary adjustments to meet quality goals.
• Maintain equipment and perform housekeeping duties as necessary.
• Adhere to all environmental, health, safety rules and regulations, and work instructions.
• Assist team in achieving plant and department goals.
• Assist with on-the-job training and continuous improvement.
• Foster an environment that promotes the company's goals, philosophies, and encourages continuous improvement through participation and teamwork.
• General knowledge of company Quality Management System (EQMS).
• Perform other duties as required.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED from an accredited school.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
• Relocation assistance is not available for this position.
• Only candidates in the immediate geographic area (50-mile radius) will be considered.
• Minimum 3 months of experience in a light to medium industrial manufacturing environment.
• Must be able to pass the Pulmonary Function Test to perform the functions of the job.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a light to medium industrial manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of basic shop math.

Preferred Skills:

• Requires frequent standing and bending.
• Must be able to regularly lift up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift 35-50 pounds.
• Ability to read written instructions and comprehend verbal instructions.
• Ability to use good judgment and problem-solving skills to make informed decisions.
