Industrial Mechanic & Safety Coordinator

Job Duties & Responsibilities

-Perform troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and repairs on injection molding and food manufacturing equipment, including mixers, pumps, conveyors, filling, and packaging systems.
-Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment while maintaining facility utilities such as boilers, chillers, air compressors, and water systems.
-Maintain accurate maintenance records, preventive maintenance schedules, and work orders to support equipment reliability.
-Lead safety initiatives by supporting OSHA compliance, investigating incidents, and promoting a strong safety culture throughout the facility.



Required Skills & Experience

-3-5+ years of industrial maintenance or industrial mechanic experience in a manufacturing environment.
-Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems with the ability to troubleshoot production equipment.
-Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, electrical schematics, and equipment manuals.
-Ability to lift 50+ lbs., use hand and power tools, and work safely in an industrial manufacturing environment.

Preferred Skills & Experience

-Experience supporting injection molding, food processing, or packaging equipment.
-Previous experience coordinating or supporting workplace safety programs and OSHA compliance.

$32.00-$40.00 per hour, based on experience
