Industrial Mechanic | 45$+/Hr

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial machinery and production equipment.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic systems, including directional control valves, cylinders, pumps, and hydraulic leaks.
• Perform preventive maintenance on bearings, belts, chains, hydraulics, motors, pumps, conveyors, cranes, and other equipment.
• Diagnose equipment breakdowns, identify root causes, and repair or replace failed components.
• Perform mechanical repairs involving bearings, gearboxes, shafts, conveyors, hydraulics, pneumatics, pumps, and other industrial machinery.
• Inspect equipment for wear, damage, and potential issues that could cause production downtime.
• Respond to maintenance work orders and production equipment issues.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintenance best practices.
• Work with senior maintenance personnel and be receptive to feedback and hands-on training.

Qualifications

• Industrial maintenance or mechanical maintenance experience preferred.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing hydraulic and mechanical systems.
• Strong understanding of industrial machinery and mechanical components.
• Experience with pumps, conveyors, bearings, gearboxes, pneumatics, and lubrication systems preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment and identify root causes.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to learn from and take direction from experienced maintenance personnel.
• Ability to work safely in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
