- Position: Industrial Materials Handling and Assembly Operator (temp-to-hire)
- Location: Phoenix, AZ
- Shifts & Pay:
- 1st Shift: 6:00 am – 2:30 pm | $17.00/hr
- 2nd Shift: 3:00 pm – 11:30 pm | $18.50/hr
- Overtime: Mandatory as needed (weeks may reach up to 50 hours)
What you’ll work on
- General manufacturing support that keeps production flowing
- Housekeeping and material flow: sweeping, debris removal, relocating/bundling scrap and cutoffs
- Panel touch-ups and repair as directed
- Sorting and disposal of scrap bracing, cardboard, strapping, and related materials to proper containers
- Use of hand tools (hammers, crowbars, box cutters) to remove strapping and packaging
- Cleaning and inspecting tools, machinery, and maintenance equipment
- Entry-level carpentry finishing tasks
What you bring
- HS diploma/GED preferred
- Approximately 1+ year of experience in a similar manufacturing or construction setting preferred
- Ability to lift/push/pull up to 35 lbs and move items up to 10 feet
- Comfort working from ladders or platforms
- Willingness to work around dust, fumes, vibration, and high noise
- Can handle changing weather and varying floor/ground conditions; occasional work at heights
