Industrial Maintenance Technician
Location: Savannah, GAJob Type: Direct HireSchedule: Full-TimePay: $60,000–$70,000 annually
Job Summary
We are seeking experienced Industrial Maintenance Technicians for a leading manufacturing facility. This direct-hire opportunity is ideal for candidates with a strong electrical or electronics background and hands-on experience maintaining and troubleshooting industrial manufacturing equipment. The ideal candidate will be committed to minimizing downtime, performing preventive maintenance, and supporting efficient production operations.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance (PMs) on manufacturing equipment and machinery
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
- Diagnose equipment issues using electrical and mechanical schematics
- Maintain and repair PLC-controlled and automated production equipment
- Support robotics and automation systems to ensure maximum equipment uptime
- Install, test, and maintain industrial electrical components and controls
- Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns and perform corrective repairs
- Document maintenance activities and completed repairs
- Follow all safety policies and company procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Previous industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong electrical and/or electronics background required
- Experience troubleshooting industrial production equipment
- Knowledge of PLCs, automation systems, robotics, pneumatics, and hydraulics
- Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a maintenance team
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
