A textile manufacturer is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment and facility systems. This role is a good fit for someone with strong mechanical and electrical skills who enjoys solving problems and keeping equipment running reliably.

Job Details

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on production equipment.
Perform preventive maintenance to reduce breakdowns and extend equipment life.
Troubleshoot motors, drives, sensors, conveyors, and hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Read electrical schematics, equipment manuals, and mechanical drawings.
Assist with equipment installations, modifications, and repairs.
Respond to equipment breakdowns and coordinate with production to restore operation.
Document repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance activities.
Follow safety procedures, including lockout/tagout, and maintain an organized work area.

Qualifications

Previous maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
Experience working with motors, bearings, belts, pumps, and power transmission components.
Ability to read schematics and use diagnostic tools.
Familiarity with PLC troubleshooting and variable frequency drives preferred.
Textile manufacturing experience is a plus.
Welding and fabrication experience is helpful.
Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with the team.
