Our fast-paced manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a dependable, highly skilled, and dedicated individual with a strong background in industrial maintenance. This is a permanent, full-time position, offering competitive compensation and benefits. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing our complex machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on all production and operating equipment.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
• Operate a variety of hand and power tools to repair, grease, weld, cut, change parts, and complete tasks as assigned.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals, blueprints, and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
• Fabricate and modify parts as required to repair or enhance machinery.
• Maintain and repair conveyor systems, ensuring optimal functionality.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify faulty equipment, test new machinery before use, and plan future maintenance tasks.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, including lockout-tagout.
• Document and maintain records of all maintenance and repair work.
• Communicate effectively with team members and management about ongoing repairs and maintenance, ensuring clear understanding of timelines and potential impact on production.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an industrial maintenance role.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school certification is a plus.
• Demonstrated mechanical and electrical skills, including experience with hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Proficiency in welding, machine repair, and blueprint reading.
• Experience with conveyor systems and fabrication.
• Solid understanding of preventive maintenance procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods.
• Must be able to work in a noisy environment and adhere to safety guidelines at all times.
• Must be available for potential after-hours emergencies or during peak production periods.
• Certification in industrial maintenance or related field is a plus.
