We are looking for a motivated Maintenance Technician to join the Helion team in Palmyra, PA. This role is ideal for a hands-on maintenance professional with strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot industrial equipment in a production environment. We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic, a go-getter attitude, and the willingness to learn.
What You'll Do
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical equipment in a high-volume production environment
- Wire and troubleshoot 3-phase motors and use a multimeter to diagnose electrical issues
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on production equipment
- Troubleshoot motors, conveyors, gearboxes, bearings, pumps, and other mechanical components
- Diagnose equipment issues and respond effectively to production breakdowns
- Follow safe work practices and maintain a clean and organized work area
- Learn and apply corrugated-specific equipment, processes, and maintenance practices
- Work closely with production and maintenance team members to minimize equipment downtime
What We're Looking For
- Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on troubleshooting ability
- Ability to wire a 3-phase motor and confidently use a meter to troubleshoot electrical issues
- Previous industrial maintenance or mechanical experience preferred
- Basic understanding of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose equipment issues
- Positive attitude, strong effort, and a "go-getter" mindset
- Willingness to learn corrugated-specific equipment and maintenance practices
- Ability to work independently while also being a strong team player
