Performs highly skilled mechanical maintenance tasks on heavy equipment and machinery used in lumber manufacturing. Troubleshoots, repairs, installs, and maintains machinery and equipment, including motors, conveyors, and Pneumatic and Hydraulic systems. Installs bearings, couplings, belts, sprockets, drive chains, etc. Identifies cause of machine failure(s) during downtime events and restores the equipment to effective operating condition. Welds, lubricates and cleans parts, performs housekeeping duties and other duties as assigned.
