INDUSTRIAL MAINTENANCE TECHNICIANLocation: Richmond, MI Area
Pay: $24.00 to $30.00 per hour
Schedule: Full time, 40 to 50 hours per week

POSITION OVERVIEWWe are recruiting for an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician for an established precision manufacturing company in the Richmond, MI area. This is a hands on position responsible for keeping CNC machines, manufacturing equipment, and facility systems operating safely, reliably, and efficiently.
The manufacturing environment includes CNC mills, lathes, Swiss machines, automation, and supporting plant equipment. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical troubleshooting skills, industrial maintenance experience, and the ability to diagnose equipment problems and get machinery back into production quickly.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Troubleshoot and repair CNC machines and manufacturing equipment
- Perform preventative maintenance on CNC mills, lathes, Swiss machines, compressors, pumps, and other plant equipment
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic problems
- Repair and replace motors, bearings, belts, pumps, valves, sensors, switches, and other equipment components
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and minimize production downtime
- Assist with machine installations, equipment moves, and equipment upgrades
- Perform general facility maintenance as needed
- Maintain maintenance records and document completed repairs
- Identify recurring equipment issues and assist with determining corrective solutions
- Work closely with production, engineering, supervisors, and outside service technicians
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
QUALIFICATIONS- 2+ years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience preferred
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Working knowledge of electrical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics
- CNC machine maintenance experience strongly preferred
- Ability to read basic electrical and mechanical diagrams
- Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, meters, and diagnostic equipment
- Ability to troubleshoot equipment independently and logically
- Dependable with the ability to take ownership of equipment problems through resolution
ADDITIONAL EXPERIENCE THAT IS A PLUS- PLC troubleshooting experience
- Welding experience
- Fabrication experience
- Experience maintaining CNC mills, lathes, or Swiss machines
- Experience working with automated manufacturing equipment
