Industrial Maintenance Technician Opportunity

We're hiring an experienced Maintenance Technician to join a growing manufacturing operation in Indianapolis. What You'll Work On

As a Maintenance Technician, you will maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and improve highly automated manufacturing equipment and facility systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive maintenance (PMs) and corrective maintenance on industrial equipment

  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electromechanical systems

  • Diagnose equipment failures and perform root cause analysis

  • Maintain and repair:- Conveyor systems

    • Production machinery
    • Electric motors
    • Mechanical drive systems
    • Hydraulic systems
    • Pneumatic systems
    • Automated manufacturing equipment
  • Troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment and automation systems

  • Support robotics and automated production equipment

  • Read and interpret:- Electrical schematics

    • Wiring diagrams
    • Technical manuals
    • Blueprints
    • Engineering drawings
  • Install and replace sensors, electrical components, and field devices

  • Partner with production teams to maximize uptime and equipment reliability

  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, efficiency, and equipment performance

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Minimum 2 years of industrial maintenance or manufacturing maintenance experience

  • Experience troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems

  • Knowledge of:- Motors

    • Bearings
    • Mechanical drives
    • Power transmission components
    • Hydraulics
    • Pneumatics
  • Basic computer skills

  • Strong commitment to safety and quality

Preferred Skills

  • PLC troubleshooting and diagnostics

  • Robotics maintenance and troubleshooting

  • Controls and automation experience

  • Electrical troubleshooting and repair

  • Experience with industrial sensors and field devices including:- Photo Eyes

    • Proximity Sensors
    • Encoders
    • Reed Switches
    • Ultrasonic Sensors

  • Control panel troubleshooting
