Job Summary
Cost effectively Replace, Maintain and Repair all operating systems within the tank wash facility, as well as building and grounds.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Perform routine inspections and repairs on all spinner pumps, return pumps, diaphragm pumps and sump pumps
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on stationary boiler(s)
- Perform routine inspections and perform repairs on stationary chemical and water vat systems.
- Perform electrical repairs and throughout the wash rack, including electrical motors, motor controls, lighting control panels and starters.
- Perform industrial plumbing functions, including welding and threaded piping.
- Procure maintenance materials, repair parts, tools, and supplies from local vendors and suppliers to support facility operations, emergency repairs, and capital projects.
- Provide maintenance and project support at Company facilities as assigned, including travel to remote locations for equipment installation, troubleshooting, repairs, inspections, and startup activities.
- Maintain and secure an inventory of parts for facility maintenance - Perform monthly inventory audit,
- Maintain and secure all maintenance related equipment and tools on site.
- Maintain QWS facility to present our brand as the wash provider of choice to attract and maintain our customer base.

Requirements
Skills and Abilities:
- Welding, commercial plumbing
- Electrical, Commercial wiring
- Operate heavy equipment, platform/scissor lifts, forklift, and other machinery
- Stationary Boiler service/repair
- Waste water treatment
- Observational skills, thoroughly perform inspections
- Writing skills, to communicate information effectively to operational leadership, managers, and technical staff.
- Organizational skills to maintain inventories
- General knowledge of computers and basic programs. Excel, Word and email
- Ability to travel independently and procure maintenance materials, repair parts, tools, and supplies from local vendors while supporting both home-site and remote-site operations.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Drivers License
Additional Job Information
- Up to 60% travel may be required to support facility maintenance activities, capital projects, equipment installations, commissioning, audits, training, and operational support at Company locations throughout North America (Note: subject to change)
- Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position, and days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. Weekends and on call may be required
