Job Summary
A leading industrial manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician II to join its maintenance team. This position is responsible for performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, and repairing production, facility, and mobile equipment with minimal supervision.
The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, a positive attitude, and a "figure-it-out" mentality. This person should be comfortable working independently, taking ownership of assigned tasks, and identifying maintenance needs before they become larger issues.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform preventative and routine maintenance on production equipment, machinery, forklifts, company vehicles, air compressors, overhead hoists, and facility systems.
- Complete scheduled maintenance including oil changes, filter replacements, lubrication, inspections, and equipment servicing.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues in a timely manner.
- Inspect equipment to identify maintenance needs and help prevent unexpected downtime.
- Perform repairs and component replacements as directed by the Maintenance Manager.
- Read, follow, and document maintenance schedules, service records, and completed work.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, testing equipment, and maintenance machinery safely and effectively.
- Assist with equipment installations, modifications, and continuous improvement projects.
- Troubleshoot and repair facility equipment with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrate initiative by identifying maintenance needs, taking ownership of assigned tasks, and seeking solutions independently.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area while following all company safety policies and procedures.
- Perform additional maintenance-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of industrial, mechanical, automotive, or maintenance experience preferred.
- Experience servicing forklifts, company vehicles, compressors, hoists, or similar industrial equipment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities.
- Electrical troubleshooting experience with AC/DC systems highly preferred.
- Experience with low-voltage and high-voltage systems preferred.
- Hydraulic and pneumatic troubleshooting experience preferred.
- Welding experience (MIG, TIG, Arc, or cutting torch) is a plus.
- CNC machine maintenance experience is a plus but not required.
- Experience using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) preferred.
- Ability to read and follow maintenance schedules and maintenance plans.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 75 lbs. independently and up to 100 lbs. with assistance.
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching, and climbing.
- Frequent use of hand tools and power tools.
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods.
