Industrial Maintenance Technician – Glass Manufacturing
Holland, OH
$24 - $34/hr based on skill and experience
1st Shift 7 am - 4 pm or 8 am - 5 pm

We are seeking a dependable and skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to join a growing glass manufacturing operation. This position focuses on maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and improving production equipment used in glass fabrication and shower enclosure manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on industrial production equipment.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, vacuum, and automation systems.
  • Diagnose equipment issues and minimize downtime in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Repair and maintain conveyors, motors, pumps, bearings, gearboxes, pneumatic systems, compressed air systems, and production machinery.
  • Read electrical schematics, machine drawings, and technical manuals.
  • Assist with PLC, sensor, relay, VFD, and control circuit troubleshooting.
  • Complete scheduled preventative maintenance and maintain maintenance records.
  • Support production teams by responding quickly to equipment issues and breakdowns.
  • Follow all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO).
Qualifications
  • Previous industrial maintenance or manufacturing maintenance experience required.
  • Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience with conveyors, motors, pumps, bearings, belts, chains, pneumatic systems, and industrial equipment.
  • Basic electrical troubleshooting experience.
  • Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
  • Strong work ethic, dependable attendance, and ability to work independently.
Preferred Experience
  • CNC machinery, robotics, automation, or PLC troubleshooting.
  • Preventative maintenance programs.
  • Welding, fabrication, millwright, or industrial electrical experience.
  • Glass manufacturing, fabrication, tempering, or automated production equipment experience is a plus.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, and work around industrial machinery.
  • Ability to lift parts, tools, and maintenance equipment as needed.
  • Comfortable working around glass, electrical systems, compressed air, and production equipment.
