    Description

    Crafco, Inc. is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician at our manufacturing plant in Halls, TN.

    The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the machinery and equipment in our manufacturing facility. They will perform necessary repairs and conduct preventive maintenance to ensure machinery runs efficiently and safely and is kept in overall good working order. Key responsibilities include inspecting, troubleshooting, diagnosing, and fixing mechanical issues, updating equipment records, organizing tools and work areas, following safety protocols, and collaborating with production teams and/or subject matter experts to minimize equipment downtime and optimize efficiency and dependability.

    Specific duties:

    • Rebuilding/replacing large pumps and motors used for asphalt manufacturing
    • VFD and light electrical knowledge
    • Conveyor maintenance and repair
    • Automated equipment, PLCs, sensors, eyes,
    • Oil heater, heat trace
    • MaintainX and Worximity programs

    Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or GED
    • 1-3 years of trade school OR related maintenance experience required
    • HMI (Human Machine Interface) experience preferred
    • Able to read and write English
    • Knowledge of general shop math, reading charts, tables and drawings, and use of job-related tools, gauges and instruments
    • Working knowledge of pumps, motors, oil lines and automated equipment to include (servo motors, sensors, conveyors, and continuous equipment flow of a line run sealant manufacturing plant)
    • Familiarity with plumbing, heating, ventilation, electrical, and machine maintenance is required
    • Able to meet the physical requirements of the role including standing, squatting, stretching, lifting 25-60 lbs. or standing for long periods of time in potentially adverse conditions (semi-indoor/outdoor conditions)
    • Must be willing to work overtime or various shifts, as needed
