The ideal candidate will promote company safety initiatives and programs. The ideal candidate will
support all Branches throughout North and South - overseeing New Jersey, Georgia and Florida.
Essential Duties
* Communicate policies, procedures, and any updates to maintenance staff.
* Frequently inspect facilities to proactively detect potential problems and recommend the necessary
repair or maintenance.
* Daily/Weekly inspection of performed maintenance work and machinery.
* Help with the development of maintenance procedures and proactive maintenance programs like
preventative maintenance
* Ensure the correct use of PPE (personal protective equipment) as well as the replacement of the
same according to the established regulations (OSHA), creating the records and physical files.
* Provide support during recruitment and ensure the proper onboarding and training process is
conducted.
* Oversee and enforce good record-keeping practices.
* Assure that each employee receives proper training and certification annually and when needed.
* Investigation of Near Misses incidents to include record filing.
* Maintenance of Shot Blasting.
* Safety Meetings record filing.
* Travel to other branches for support (NJ, GA, FL).
* Other duties are instructed by the Head of Operations.
$30.00 - $40.00/hr
* Associate or bachelor"s degree in Safety Management required.
* Technical training in Industrial Maintenance, Electromechanics, Industrial Electricity, Industrial
Mechanics, or Mechatronics.
* OSHA 30-Hours Courses in General Industry.
*Lockout/Tagout.
*Machine Guarding.
*Hazard Communication (HazCom).
*Arc Flash Protection when applicable.
*FIT Test and Audiogram preferably.
*Fall Protection and Fire Extinguisher.
* OSHA 511 Occupational Safety and Health Standards for General Industry.
* Electrical NFPA 70E Safety
* Forklift and Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) training
* Certified Maintenance and Reliability Technician (CMRT)
* Proficient and knowledgeable in Safe Power Tool.
* CPR, First Aid & AED.
* American Welding Society (AWS) Code and Standards.
Industrial Maintenance Technician
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Detail oriented and thorough.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
* Time Management and multitasking skills required.
* Bilingual (English + Spanish) is a plus.
* Be able to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
Experience & Knowledge
* 3-5 years of Industrial Maintenance experience.
* At least 3 years driving Powered Industrial Trucks including;
* Forklift plus Certification.
*Mobile Elevating Work Platform (MEWP) including Scissor Lifts and Boom Lifts plus
certification.
*Overhead Crane.
* Corrective and Preventive Maintenance experience required.
* Diagnosis and troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic
breakdowns/failures.
* Industrial Machinery, Manufacturing, or Construction.
* Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) knowledge.
*Allen Bradley or Siemens preferably.
* Mechanical and Electrical blueprinting reading or interpretation of Mechanical and Electrical
Drawings.
* Mechanical Industrial knowledge to include bearing, chain, belt, speed reducer, electric motor,
pump.
* Electric Industrial knowledge to include three-phase motos, contactors, relays, sensors, Variable
Frequency Drives (VFD), reading schematics/electrical diagrams.
* Pneumatics, Hydraulics, MIG Drilling knowledge and proficiency.
* Handling multimeter, clamp meter, caliper, and micrometer knowledge and proficiency.
* Roller Conveyors use and training preferably
* Paint booth use and training preferably.
* Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) use and training preferably.
