We are looking for a skilled Industrial Heavy Machinery Technician to join our Fallsington team to ensure our heavy-duty production lines operate at peak performance.

Job Description

As an Industrial Heavy Machinery Technician, you will be the backbone of our production floor. You will be responsible for the high-level troubleshooting, repair, and optimization of heavy industrial equipment. This role goes beyond general maintenance; it requires a deep understanding of the mechanical and electrical systems that power our extrusion, coating, and converting lines.

Key Responsibilities

• **System Diagnostics:

  ** Troubleshoot complex production and plant equipment, identifying root causes for mechanical or electrical failures.

• **Operational Excellence:

  ** Ensure all heavy machinery is running at company and OEM standards. Perform precise setups and adjustments to meet strict production deadlines.

• **Preventative Maintenance:

  ** Collaborate with the Maintenance Supervisor to schedule and execute repairs, replace heavy-duty components, and minimize production waste.

• **Reporting:

  ** Monitor machine performance reports daily. Maintain clear communication with leadership regarding the status of ongoing repairs and completed tasks.

• **Safety & Compliance:

  ** Adhere to all industrial safety protocols and environmental regulations to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel.

Qualifications & Requirements

• **Experience:

  ** 3–5 years of experience in a heavy industrial maintenance capacity (preferred). High school diploma or equivalent required.

• **Technical Expertise:

  ** Proficiency in pneumatics, hydraulics, and electrical systems is essential.

• **Fabrication & Repair:

  ** Strong skills in welding, fabrication, and machine installation. Experience with basic machining (lathe/mill) is a significant plus.

• **Technical Skills:

  ** Must possess strong general math skills and computer literacy for digital record-keeping and machine diagnostic software.

• **Physical Capability:

  ** Ability to handle the physical demands of maintaining large-scale industrial machinery in a manufacturing environment.
