Industrial Maintenance Technician — Asset Reliability (Greenville, SC)

Compensation & Rewards

• Starting pay at $28.41 per hour — paid weekly
• Eligible for annual and skill-based wage increases

Work Schedule

Monday – Friday, 6:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

A Day in the Role

You’ll begin by reviewing maintenance work orders in SAP, planning tasks, and gathering the right tools. Throughout the day you will:

• Diagnose issues using basic troubleshooting methods and safe testing equipment practices.
• Perform light fabrication and repairs with basic welding (MIG, gas, torch) and handle basic plumbing fixes.
• Work with A/C and D/C electrical systems, motors, and motor starters.
• Service and adjust basic hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Operate common machine shop tools such as drill presses, lathes, and saws; apply general machine shop knowledge.
• Document activities in the SAP maintenance module and follow standardized work instructions.
• Uphold GMP, SOP, environmental, and safety procedures while maintaining a clean, orderly workspace.
• Collaborate with teammates—and switch to independent problem-solving when needed.
• Support the operation with other duties as necessary.

• Hands-on familiarity with motors, motor starters, hydraulics, pneumatics, and basic plumbing.
• Comfort with basic welding (MIG, gas, torch) and safe use of testing equipment.
• Experience with drill presses, lathes, and saws; general machine shop know-how.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Understanding of the SAP maintenance module.
• Reliability in following standardized work, GMP, SOP, environmental, and safety procedures.

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• Engineering courses successfully attended and passed.
• Score of 40 or above on a mechanical aptitude test.

Essential Physical & Role Functions

• Ability to work 8, 10, and/or 12-hour shifts, with extended standing and walking.
• Ability to climb.
• Attentiveness to safety warnings, devices, and alarms.
• Clear verbal and written communication.
• Capability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Problem-solving skills to establish cause-and-effect in office and manufacturing settings.
