Industrial Maintenance Technician - Alliance, OH - JOB 26-00573

Pay Range: $28.00 - $32.00/HR Full-Time Permanent Position with Benefits

Seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician / Millwright who has experience maintaining industrial and manufacturing equipment. Employer is willing to offer individuals training who were previously working towards getting their Journeymen card.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, repair, replace, and adjust mechanical equipment, machinery, and moving parts for optimal operation.
• Read and interpret complex blueprints, schematics, and mechanical repair drawings to perform precision work.
• Align and calibrate machinery using hoists, jacks, micrometers, plumb bobs, rules, and precision hand tools. Insert shims and adjust clearances.
• Grind, file, and weld equipment components both on-site and in controlled workshop settings.
• Perform routine lubrication, tension adjustments, and operational testing to prevent downtime and workplace safety hazards.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required. Trade School Certificate, Associate Degree, or Technical Diploma in Industrial Maintenance/Millwright preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on mechanical maintenance experience in a manufacturing or heavy industrial setting.
• Strong proficiency in shop math, mechanical troubleshooting, equipment selection, and preventative maintenance.
• Solid reading comprehension, basic computer literacy, active learning capabilities, and complex problem-solving skills.
• Must be able to pass standard pre-employment skills and background evaluations.
