Join our client's growing steel manufacturing operation in Youngstown, OH as an Industrial Maintenance Technician. We are seeking proactive, safety-oriented candidates with hands-on maintenance experience to keep heavy machinery running smoothly in a fast-paced environment.
Hours:
3RD SHIFT
Pay:
$19.00 - $25.00 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
Repair and maintain industrial production and processing machinery
Diagnose malfunctions by observing and testing equipment
Repair or replace defective components and parts
Disassemble engines and mechanical units for inspections and repairs
Clean and inspect mechanical parts such as pistons, valves, and transmissions
Install new or reconditioned parts including brake bands, clutch plates, sprockets, and pump components
Minimum Requirements:
Experience with hand tools and maintenance equipment
Ability to read and follow work orders, oral and written
Experience using voltmeters and testing devices
Strong electrical troubleshooting and repair skills
Good communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to lift up to 70 lbs
Willingness to work any shift
Preferred Education and Experience:
Hands-on experience in manufacturing or industrial maintenance
Basic knowledge of preventative maintenance
Leadership or supervisory experience a plus
