Industrial Maintenance Technician - 3rd Shift

Ideal candidates will have at least 3 years of recent industrial maintenance experience with a background in mechanical maintenance, electrical maintenance, PLCs, installation and building and grounds maintenance. Perform basic and routine repairs such as electrical work, PLC troubleshooting, and other related maintenance tasks, adhering to proper maintenance practices and codes.

Advanced Personnel Resources is currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician for our client in Greensboro. Ideal candidates will have at least 3 years of recent industrial maintenance experience with a background in mechanical maintenance, electrical maintenance, PLCs, installation and building and grounds maintenance. This position works 3rd shift hours and work regular overtime.Main Responsibilities:Carry out scheduled maintenance and repair tasks as assigned.Regularly examine and maintain facility systems, including but not limited to manufacturing machinery, workshops, and production equipment.Perform basic and routine repairs such as electrical work, PLC troubleshooting, and other related maintenance tasks, adhering to proper maintenance practices and codes.Assist with the setup, adjustment, or enhancement of building systems and equipment.Maintain accurate and current records of service and replacement data for facility equipment and machinery.Notify the appropriate manager of any significant repair needs or equipment upgrades.Address maintenance and repair issues promptly and efficiently.Propose improvements to maintenance procedures or identify cost-saving opportunities.Ensure new installations comply with safety standards and building codes.Maintain a clean and safe workspace at all times.Demonstrate a high level of skill and proficiency across all maintenance operations.Comply with company policies, procedures, and safety regulations in all activities.Follow all safety protocols to ensure a secure work environment.Take on additional tasks as directed by the Maintenance Manager.Qualifications:Proven experience in industrial maintenance field.Experience troubleshooting pneumatics, hydraulics, gear pumps, motors, and PM’s.Experience in electrical, HVAC, pressure vessels, welding, and other maintenance skills.Flexible to work on-call hours, as required.High School Diploma or equivalent.Benefits Available:Medical InsuranceDental InsuranceVision InsuranceLife InsurancePaid Time OffHoliday Pay401kDirect HireStarting Pay: $30-30.50/hr.
