    Industrial Maintenance Services Supervisor

    Imagine this: Production is peaking, and a critical asset shows early-warning trends in the CMMS. You rally the team, reinforce safety expectations, align on countermeasures, and update the customer with clear status and next steps. Downtime is minimized, learning is captured, and the team leaves stronger than it started. That’s the impact of this role.

    Lead with purpose

    • Safety leadership: Own the Site Safety Program and policy adherence. Elevate housekeeping and visual controls through 5S. Promote employee safety and wellness via Beyond Zero initiatives.
    • Strategy to shop floor: Maintain fluency in site and company strategic priorities. Guide the team through change so new processes and procedures are adopted effectively. Help everyone see how daily actions influence strategic outcomes.
    • ATS culture in action: Drive day-to-day team priorities using leadership competencies aligned to our ATS culture. Model self-motivation and emotional intelligence.
    • People development: Manage performance and open up development opportunities. Coach career planning, training, and skills growth through regular one-on-one conversations.

    Deliver measurable results

    • Operating System: Champion and embed the site’s Operating System so it becomes standard practice.
    • KPIs and RCA: Partner with the Site Manager to track and report maintenance performance indicators, conduct root cause analyses, and drive action items that remove barriers and fuel continuous improvement.
    • Customer alignment: Communicate and escalate priorities, issues, and equipment status as needed to sustain a positive, profitable relationship.
    • Cost discipline: Support the Site Manager with labor, overtime, and material expense management; approve overtime for the team.
    • Work execution: Review work orders and secure schedule adherence; identify gaps and close them quickly.
    • Team cadence: Lead and participate in team meetings to influence decisions and outcomes.

    What it takes

    Essential

    • Associate’s degree (or equivalent) plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, or a comparable combination of education and experience.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication.
    • Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft applications, web-based tools, and CMMS software.

    Preferred

    • Core business acumen: contracts, understanding the customer’s business, negotiation, billing models, financial exposure, and relationship building.
    • Planner/scheduler experience is a plus.

    Proficiency

    • Supervisory experience.
