About the Role
Join BAC’s Maintenance & Reliability team as a hands-on technician who keeps production moving. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager and partnering closely with a Senior Maintenance Technician, you’ll elevate equipment uptime through preventive care, precise troubleshooting, and meticulous documentation—while living BAC’s core values: Earning Trust, Embracing Responsibility, Showing Courage, and Driving Innovation.
A Day in the Life
Morning: Review the day’s work orders, prioritize PMs on major plant assets, stage parts and tools, and verify safety procedures and PPE. You’ll reference technical manuals, specs, shop drawings, and schematics to plan efficient work.
Midday: Tackle equipment needs across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and power‑transmission systems. You’ll perform breakdown repairs, changeovers, and benchwork (rebuilds, deep cleaning, and operational checks). When seasonal or facility equipment checks are due, you’ll schedule and complete them—even during non‑standard hours when needed.
Afternoon: Update in‑process quality checks and inspection logs, restock parts and consumables, and capture accurate after‑action notes and maintenance records. You’ll coach junior mechanics and coordinate with production teams, the Shift Manager, and leadership on machine status and priorities.
