Step into a role where your technical instincts and steady hands keep production humming. As an Industrial Maintenance Project Technician in Saxonburg, PA, you’ll be the go-to problem solver for equipment reliability, preventive maintenance, and project execution throughout the facility.

Schedule & Compensation

  • Shift: Monday–Friday, 11:00 PM–7:00 AM
  • Shift Differential: $1.50/hour
  • Hourly Range: $27–$33, based on experience

A Night in the Role

You start your shift by reviewing the preventive maintenance queue and open work orders. A quick inspection loop helps you spot anomalies before they become downtime events. Mid-shift, you’re collaborating with teammates to troubleshoot a PLC alarm, updating inventory counts for spare parts you used, and logging accurate notes in the CMMS. Before shift handoff, you close the loop on safety checks, lockout/tagout procedures, and prep the next maintenance project plan.

Your Core Impact

  • Execute routine maintenance and corrective repairs on facility systems and equipment.
  • Carry out inspections to detect issues early and uphold safety and compliance standards.
  • Assist with planning and delivering facility maintenance projects to completion.
  • Partner with peers to diagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical, and controls problems.
  • Document activities thoroughly and maintain accurate maintenance and inventory records.
  • Respond quickly to work requests and on-shift emergencies.
  • Advance preventive maintenance programs to reduce unplanned downtime.

What You Bring

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience in maintenance or a closely related trade.
  • Sharp troubleshooting ability and a strong eye for detail.
  • Comfort working independently and as part of a coordinated team.
  • Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
  • Clear, professional communication and solid interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility to adjust hours when operational needs arise.
