    Industrial Maintenance Operations Supervisor

    Step into a role where safety, clarity, and performance come together. As the Industrial Maintenance Operations Supervisor, you guide a skilled team through daily priorities, elevate safety practices, and translate strategy into results.

    A day in the life

    Morning walkthroughs set the tone—verifying 5S standards, checking in on the team’s safety mindset, and reinforcing Beyond Zero wellness initiatives. You align the day’s maintenance plan with customer priorities, confirm work orders and schedules in the CMMS, and remove roadblocks so technicians can execute. Throughout the day, you mentor team members in one-on-ones, communicate equipment status to the customer, and monitor KPIs to drive continuous improvement. Before close, you confirm schedule adherence, approve any needed overtime, and capture insights for the next day’s plan.

    What you’ll lead

    • Safety first: Own the Site Safety Program, ensuring all policies are followed; uphold housekeeping excellence through 5S; champion employee safety and wellness through Beyond Zero initiatives.
    • Strategy into action: Maintain a strong grasp of site and company initiatives; support change management so new procedures are understood and effectively implemented; connect team actions to broader strategic goals.
    • Culture and leadership: Drive daily execution using leadership competencies aligned to our ATS culture; model self-motivation and emotional intelligence in every interaction.
    • People growth: Manage performance and create development opportunities; coach team members on career paths, training, and skill-building through ongoing one-on-one conversations.
    • Business outcomes: Ensure the site Operating System is adopted and woven into daily work; support the Site Manager in measuring/reporting maintenance KPIs and performing root cause analysis; act on findings to remove barriers and advance continuous improvement.
    • Customer partnership: Communicate and escalate priorities, issues, and equipment status to the customer; help sustain a positive and profitable relationship.
    • Cost and schedule control: Assist the Site Manager with labor, overtime, and material expense management; approve team overtime; review work orders, confirm schedule adherence, and close gaps promptly.
    • Team cadence: Lead and actively participate in team meetings, setting expectations and influencing outcomes.

    Qualifications

    Essential

    • Associate’s degree (or equivalent) with at least 3 years of related experience, or an equivalent blend of education and experience.
    • Clear, confident communicator—both verbal and written.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft applications, web-based tools, and CMMS software.

    Preferred

    • Foundational business acumen: contracts, customer operations, negotiation, billing models, financial awareness, and relationship building.
    • Planner/scheduler background is ideal.

    Proficiency

    • Supervisory experience.
