Industrial Maintenance Mechanic – Packaging Equipment

    Full-time | $2,000 sign-on bonus paid at 30 days | Overtime available

    A day in the life

You start your shift by reviewing work orders, equipment logs, and schematics. A filler on Line 2 is down—within minutes you’re tracing an electrical fault, reading the wiring diagram, and isolating the issue at a sensor tied to an Allen-Bradley PLC. After restoring the line, you knock out a scheduled changeover on a capper, simplifying steps so the crew can execute it faster next run. The afternoon brings a gearbox rebuild on a case packer, a PM on a conveyor VFD, and a walk-through with leadership to align on upcoming projects. Safety and uptime are your north stars throughout.

    What you’ll work on

    • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair breakdowns across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
    • Tear down equipment; rebuild/replace motors, gearboxes, clutches, bearings, electrical components; reassemble and perform final adjustments
    • Execute and improve changeovers and setups on assigned equipment and production lines; set up fill lines for production runs
    • Assist line operators during changeovers and collaborate closely with production teams
    • Repair machinery and related equipment; dismantle defective components and install new or refurbished parts
    • Champion safety practices and proper use of PPE
    • Support the supervisor with daily operation of all production lines
    • Interface with multiple levels of management; participate in special projects, meetings, and other assigned tasks

    Equipment you’ll see
