Overview:
Our client, a leading manufacturer of masonry products, is seeking a skilled and motivated Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to join their team at their Brewster, NY facility. This role plays a key part in maintaining the reliability and efficiency of machinery, equipment, and mechanical systems across the plant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on industrial equipment and systems.
- Adjust, program, and inspect mechanical components to ensure optimal performance.
- Lead mechanical shutdowns and participate in maintenance planning.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, parts inventory, and equipment performance.
- Ensure a safe and clean work environment by following safety protocols and promoting continuous improvement.
- Support reporting and documentation efforts related to maintenance and safety.
Qualifications:
- Diploma in Industrial Mechanics or Electromechanics.
- Licence or certification is a huge asset
- Demonstrated competency in electrical systems.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Strong experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and machining.
- Strong experience in the brick industry is a huge asset
- Skilled in arc and TIG welding.
- Ability to interpret mechanical drawings and schematics.
- Proficient in the use of hand and power tools.

12 hours- Monday to Friday- Day/Nights Rotating every 6 months
Salary: $28 to $35/Hr based on experience OT after 40 hours!
