Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop production and maintenance personnel to achieve operational goals.
  • Manage production scheduling, work orders, and preventative maintenance programmes.
  • Ensure equipment uptime, reliability, and maintenance compliance.
  • Serve as the lead project manager for capital improvement and maintenance-related projects.
  • Coordinate contractors, construction activities, and plant improvement initiatives.
  • Drive process improvements that enhance productivity, quality, and safety.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance, equipment, and project records.
  • Collaborate with leadership to support business objectives and operational performance.

The Successful Applicant

Ideal Candidate:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of manufacturing leadership experience overseeing production and/or maintenance operations.
  • Experience with ERP systems and production planning processes.
  • Strong knowledge of plant maintenance, preventative maintenance programmes, and equipment reliability.
  • Hands-on understanding of electrical systems, PLCs, and industrial manufacturing equipment.
  • Project management experience involving facility, equipment, or capital improvement projects.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
