Middle Georgia Staffing Solutions is seeking motivated Maintenance Technicians and Mechanics for multiple openings. We are hiring individuals ranging from entry-level apprentices to highly skilled lead mechanics. Competitive pay is based on experience, technical ability, and demonstrated maintenance skills.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment
- Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and conveyor systems
- Replace bearings, chains, sprockets, gearboxes, pumps, and other components
- Perform welding, fabrication, and equipment modifications as needed
- Complete work orders and maintenance documentation
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment
- Work independently and as part of a maintenance team
Pay Levels
- Beginner Apprentice – $22/hr
- Intermediate Apprentice – $24/hr
- Advanced Apprentice – $26/hr
- Beginner Mechanic – $28/hr
- Intermediate Mechanic – $30/hr
- Advanced Mechanic – $32/hr
- Lead Maintenance Mechanic – $37–$42/hr
Qualifications
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Industrial maintenance, manufacturing, or production experience preferred
- Welding and fabrication experience is a plus
- Ability to safely use hand and power tools
- Ability to work in a fast-paced industrial environment
- Strong work ethic, reliable transportation, and dependable attendance
