Industrial Maintenance Electrician

We are seeking a candidate with strong electrical troubleshooting skills for our client in Barberton, Ohio!

In this role you will be working with a company who operates under the principle of fostering a continuous improvement culture that is focused on delivering quality, service, performance, value, and education to its customers.

Hours:
1st Shift, Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:00pm + Overtime as needed

Pay:
$18.00-$25.00/hr Based on experience

Responsibilities:

• Maintain operation of machinery, equipment and facilities by performing preventative maintenance, inspections, setups, repairs and upgrades
• Inspect, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment
• Troubleshoot electrical malfunctions in motors, control panels, PLCs, conveyors, and machinery
• Install wiring, lighting, breakers, transformers and electrical components
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics and technical manuals
• Test electrical systems and ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety standards
• Respond to emergency breakdowns and equipment failures
• Maintain maintenance logs, repair records and work orders
• Operate forklift and use machine shop tools when fabricating parts.
• Other related duties as assigned 

Requirements:

• High School Diploma/GED
• 2+ years' experience working as an Industrial Maintenance Tech
• Must have strong electrical troubleshooting skills
• Experience with preventative maintenance and equipment inspections
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
• Good physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50–100 lbs as needed
