Step into a Day Moving Big Machines
Work Monday through Friday on 1st Shift, joining a crew that relocates, installs, and repairs industrial equipment. You’ll blend short local hauls with hands-on rigging and precision moves—work that rewards skill, coordination, and safety.
Work mix: 5% Driving, 95% Dismantling, relocating, installing, and repairs of industrial equipment and machinery onsite.
What You’ll Do
- Operate semi tractors and trailers safely to move equipment and materials for each project.
- Load, unload, lift, and position machinery using proven rigging techniques.
- Support dismantling, relocation, installation, and repair of industrial machinery.
- Coordinate closely with teammates to sequence tasks and maintain safe operations.
- Run forklifts and other heavy equipment as needed for material handling.
- Comply with DOT regulations, company policies, and established safety practices.
- Care for tools and vehicles; report mechanical or safety issues promptly.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Valid CDL Class A license.
- Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
- Current DOT physical certification.
- Minimum age of 21 (insurance requirement).
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain it.
- Thorough understanding of load securement and safe material handling.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and technical documentation.
- Hands-on proficiency with hand tools, pallet jacks, dollies, welders, and precision measuring equipment.
- Capable of physically demanding work, including lifting heavy components safely.
Experience
- At least 2 years of CDL driving and rigging experience.
- Background in machinery moving, industrial installation, or heavy-haul is preferred.
Proficiencies
- DOT medical compliance and current CDL.
- Truck operations, inspections, and load securement to DOT standards.
- Forklift operation (licensed) and crane operation familiarity.
- Equipment troubleshooting and installation.
- Field service readiness and ability to meet physical demands.
