Industrial Machine Maintenance and Operation

K&S Tire Recycling is seeking an experienced, mechanically skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician / Equipment Operator to maintain and operate heavy-duty tire recycling equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain tire shredders, steel liberators, conveyors, screens and related equipment
• Diagnose mechanical failures and production problems
• Change/adjust shredder knives, screens and wear components
• Replace/maintain bearings, shafts, belts, chains, sprockets and rollers
• Inspect motors, gearboxes, hydraulics and pneumatics
• Perform preventive maintenance and lubrication
• Safely clear jams using proper LOTO procedures
• Operate Bobcat/skid steer to load and move material
• Identify abnormal heat, vibration, noise and wear before failures occur

Requirements

• Industrial maintenance/mechanical experience
• Strong troubleshooting ability
• Experience with bearings, conveyors and mechanical components
• Knowledge of Lockout/Tagout
• Ability to operate a Bobcat/skid steer
• Ability to use hand, power and pneumatic tools
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Welding/fabrication and electrical troubleshooting are preferred.
