We are hiring experienced
Industrial Journeyman Electricians / Electrical Terminators for a project in Wink, Texas. This opportunity offers excellent earning potential with competitive hourly pay, substantial overtime, and $175 per diem.
We are looking specifically for electricians with
strong, hands-on electrical termination experience. Candidates must be capable of independently completing terminations accurately from electrical drawings and schematics.
Traveling electricians are encouraged to apply.Industrial Journeyman Electrician Responsibilities: - Perform electrical terminations on industrial electrical equipment and systems
- Terminate power, control, and instrumentation wiring
- Complete terminations involving MCCs, switchgear, VFDs, motors, control panels, junction boxes, terminal blocks, and related equipment
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, and termination drawings
- Verify cable identification, wire numbers, terminal locations, and equipment identification prior to termination
- Properly install lugs, ferrules, connectors, glands, and other termination components
- Torque electrical connections according to manufacturer specifications
- Perform cable identification, wire tagging, continuity verification, and related testing
- Troubleshoot electrical circuits and termination-related issues
- Identify discrepancies between drawings and field conditions
- Follow LOTO, OSHA, client, and site-specific safety procedures
Industrial Journeyman Electrician Requirement: - Minimum 10 years of electrical experience required
- Strong hands-on electrical termination experience required
- Must have at minimum a current Texas Apprentice Electrician license
- Journeyman Electrician license is preferred but not required
- Must be capable of performing electrical terminations independently with minimal supervision
- Strong experience reading electrical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams
- Industrial electrical, oil & gas, I&E, manufacturing, mission-critical, pipeline, or similar heavy industrial experience strongly preferred
- Experience terminating MCCs, switchgear, VFDs, motors, control panels, junction boxes, instrumentation, or similar industrial equipment
- Knowledge of proper torque requirements and termination procedures
- Experience with electrical testing and troubleshooting
- Reliable transportation
- Must be able to pass required background check and drug screening
- Must be able to work substantial overtime
