    We are currently seeking motivated individuals to join our team. Experienced professionals are encouraged to apply, but experience is not required for the right candidate. If you are dependable, willing to learn, comfortable working in the field, and interested in building a long-term career in environmental health and safety, we will provide the training and support necessary to help you succeed.

    Through our in-house training division, AMA provides employees with training in asbestos, lead, mold, safety, and other applicable areas.     Qualifications & Requirements

    • Previous experience in industrial hygiene, environmental consulting, construction, safety, asbestos, lead, mold, or a related field is preferred but not required.
    • Willingness to learn and participate in company-provided training.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • Professional demeanor and the ability to interact directly with clients.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
    • Asbestos Inspector, Lead Inspector, and/or NIOSH 582 training is preferred but not required.
    • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for work-related travel.
    • Ability to pass government background checks when required for federal facility access.
    • Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional overtime, off-hour shifts, and emergency/on-call assignments as needed.
    • Ability to work in a variety of indoor and outdoor environments and perform field activities as required.

     

    Responsibilities

    Depending on experience and training, responsibilities may include:

    • Conduct asbestos, lead paint, mold, and other hazardous materials surveys and inspections.
    • Perform asbestos and lead abatement monitoring.
    • Collect air, surface, water, and other environmental samples in accordance with applicable EPA, OSHA, NIOSH, and industry methods.
    • Conduct indoor air quality assessments and mold investigations.
    • Perform industrial hygiene surveys and exposure assessments.
    • Conduct facility safety surveys and assessments.
    • Prepare field documentation, reports, and other project-related records.
    • Obtain and maintain applicable professional certifications and licenses.
    • Communicate professionally with clients, contractors, building owners, and project personnel.
    • Perform other duties and field assignments as required.
