It’s early in Temple, Texas. You clock in, gear up with PPE, and review the day’s work instructions and basic blueprints. A quick check of measurements, materials, and resin mix ratios, and you’re off—crafting rugged fiberglass parts that become the backbone of industrial ventilation systems.
Your hands guide the process: cutting fiberglass mats, mixing resins and catalysts, laying up FRP, and installing components into vessels, ductwork, and fans. You’ll move between sanding stations and assembly areas, using grinders, saws, and drills. Overhead hoists help position large pieces, and you keep safety at the forefront—every cut, every pass, every lift.
Fiberglass fabrication is active, physical work. The production area can be hot, dusty, and dirty, and involves resins and other manufacturing materials. Expect repetitive sanding and grinding, frequent movement around the shop, climbing stairs, and lifting materials up to 50 lbs. Required PPE is provided and must be worn.
Since 1971, Viron International Corporation has manufactured industrial ventilation systems in Temple, Texas, utilizing stainless steel and fiberglass composite materials.
