Industrial Flooring Installation Technician – Epoxy/Polyurea Coatings

What you’ll do
- Prepare concrete by grinding and profiling ahead of epoxy and other coating installations.
- Remove high spots, ridges, existing coatings, and surface imperfections.
- Operate hand/power tools for cutting, drilling, grinding, and surface prep tasks.
- Clean and condition surfaces to ensure strong coating adhesion.
- Perform repairs to cracks, joints, and damaged areas.
- Mix and place multi-component materials to spec.
- Spread, level, smooth, and finish coatings using hand and power tools.
- Wash/chemically treat concrete with approved methods.
- Assist with epoxy, resinous, and other industrial coating applications.
- Use industrial vacuums and dust-control systems throughout prep.
- Load/unload tools, equipment, and materials safely.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site.
- Follow direction from supervisors; support team goals.
- Comply with OSHA and company safety protocols at all times.
What we’re looking for
- Experience in concrete grinding/polishing, epoxy or industrial flooring, surface prep, or related construction trades (preferred).
- Comfort with hand and power tools.
- Physical stamina: standing, bending, kneeling, lifting, and extended work periods.
- Experience in commercial/industrial environments.
- Reliable transportation to job sites.
- Consistent attendance and reliability; collaborative mindset.
- Curiosity and willingness to learn new tools, materials, and methods.
Role details
- First shift.
- Contract-to-hire.
- Pay: $20–$24 per hour, with opportunities for prevailing wage on certain projects.
Working conditions
Active construction setting with tool operation, lifting/moving equipment and materials, exposure to dust and noise, and work performed in commercial/industrial facilities.
A reliable means of transportation is required.
