Industrial Fire Alarm Service Technician - Sign On Bonus

This position will be for the Houston area.

• Service and inspect fire alarm systems

• Test fire alarm systems to ensure they are in proper working order
• Troubleshoot and repair problems with fire alarm systems
• Conduct routine maintenance on fire alarm systems
• Program fire alarm systems using software
• Keep accurate records of all fire alarm system inspections and repairs
• Provide training to customers on fire alarm systems

SKILLS:

• Ability to read and interpret schematics and wiring diagrams
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair fire alarms
• Knowledge of fire safety codes and standards
• Knowledge of electrical theory and wiring techniques

Requirements

• Must have state FAL certification in fire alarm systems
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair fire alarm systems
• Knowledge of applicable fire codes and standards
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
• Knowledge of electrical systems and equipment
