Description

Our client is a growing industrial services and fabrication company supporting heavy industrial, quarry, manufacturing, and plant operations throughout the region. The field division specializes in keeping production facilities running safely and efficiently. We are seeking an experienced Industrial Field Service Mechanic with strong mechanical and fabrication skills to join the team.
 
Position Summary:
The Industrial Field Service Mechanic performs on-site diagnostics, repair, installation, maintenance, and fabrication of heavy industrial machinery at customer sites. This position requires troubleshooting expertise, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work safely and independently in demanding industrial environments.
 
Qualifications:
  • Must have mechanical aptitude 
  • Welding and fabrication skills highly preferred
  • Ability to work in physically demanding industrial environments
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work at heights or in confined spaces when required
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Self-motivated and dependable
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Weld and fabricate at customer sites
  • Repair machinery and equipment
  • Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions
  • Work with hand and power tools
  • Work with measuring and alignment tools
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance
  • Read machine and/or procedure manuals
  • Daily travel to customer facilities
  • Perform plant shutdown maintenance and emergency breakdown repairs
  • Install industrial machinery
  • Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations
Schedule:
  • Monday-Friday 6am-4pm
  • Averaging about 45 hours per week
  • Schedule can vary based on client demand 
  •  Weekend work is available 
Pay:
  •  $20-$30/hour based on experience
