Industrial Facility Custodian
Job Location: Benicia, California
Job Type: Temp to Hire
Pay Rate: $20-$21/hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday: 8am-4:30pm
Description of Position:
Do you have experience as a Custodian, Janitor, or Facilities Worker? Our client is looking for a reliable and hardworking Industrial Facility Custodian to help maintain a clean, safe, and organized manufacturing and warehouse environment.
This is a hands-on position involving cleaning, sanitation, waste management, facility upkeep, and minor maintenance.
Job Responsibilities:
- Sweep, mop, and polish floors throughout manufacturing and warehouse areas
- Vacuum machine stairs, walkways, and access areas
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, lunchrooms, kitchens, labs, and office areas
- Clean interior and exterior windows and walls
- Monitor and restock cleaning and restroom supplies
- Maintain a replenish first aid supplies
- Maintain and replenish first aid supplies
- Collect, sort, and properly dispose of trash, debris, and recyclables
- Position dumpsters for weekly pickup and return them afterward
- Maintain clean parking lots and exterior areas
- Break down boxes and organize packaging materials for disposal
- Perform minor facility repairs, including patching and painting
- Replace light bulbs and assist with basic plumbing tasks
- Help maintain a safe, clean, and orderly facility
- Perform other duties as assigned

You will be supporting a well-established company that is a prominent industry player, specializing in the production of prepreg and custom cellular core materials for the Aerospace Industry in Benicia, California.
Experience Required:
- Previous custodial, janitorial, facilities, or industrial cleaning experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean environment
- Reliable, dependable, and self-motivated
- Ability to work independently and follow safety procedures
- Comfortable performing basic maintenance and repair tasks
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
