    Where: Richmond, VA | Schedule: Days with on‑call coverage | Pay: $100,000–$120,000 base DOE + bonus + excellent benefits

    Your impact

    • Drive a safety‑first culture by following regulations, recognizing hazards, and executing corrective actions.
    • Own preventive maintenance: plan, supervise, and audit PMs and inspections across equipment and facilities.
    • Lead troubleshooting and high‑quality repair methods for mechanical, electrical, and controls issues.
    • Partner with Operations to maximize overall equipment effectiveness and reduce downtime.
    • Coach, mentor, and direct maintenance technicians; be the go‑to technical resource.
    • Run a disciplined CMMS: ensure work order compliance and accurate records of PMs, inspections, and repairs.
    • Manage MRO parts: inventory oversight, restocking programs, and purchasing.
    • Coordinate contractors, service providers, and vendors to meet performance and quality expectations.
    • Advance continuous improvement with the Corporate Engineering Department.
    • Provide ongoing training and knowledge transfer to elevate team capability.
    • Perform other duties as needed to support plant goals.

    Do you have these qualifications?

    • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications preferred.
    • At least 3 years leading maintenance in an industrial/manufacturing setting.
    • Confident with computers and modern maintenance systems.
    • Clear communicator and strong organizer; effective with varied personalities.
    • Solid understanding of mechanical and electrical fundamentals.
    • Positive leader with a team‑centric mindset.
    • Thrives in a fast‑moving, challenging environment.
    • Physically capable of performing job tasks.
    • Willing to work a flexible schedule, including some weekends/holidays.
    • Reads and interprets manuals, blueprints, and electrical schematics.
