    The impact you’ll make

    • Lead CAPEX portfolios from feasibility and scope through budgeting, execution, installation, and commissioning.
    • Author charters, develop integrated schedules, create cost estimates, and drive risk mitigation.
    • Own equipment lifecycle strategy—evaluate aging assets, run ROI for repair/replace, and lead sourcing and integration of automation and process technology.
    • Shape the factory: coordinate structural expansions, utilities upgrades, and plant layout optimization with architects, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
    • Plan and steer major maintenance and turnarounds, minimizing disruption with rigorous planning, scheduling, and contingencies.
    • Direct vendor and contractor selection and performance; enforce company standards, safety expectations, and local building codes.
    • Embed continuous improvement (Lean, Six Sigma) to lift throughput, reliability, and reduce waste.
    • Mitigate risk proactively and lead emergency repair responses to safeguard production.

    Qualifications

    • BS in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
    • 5+ years’ experience in manufacturing environments.
    • Track record managing capital projects > $500,000.
    • Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar CAD tools; and PM platforms such as MS Project or Primavera.
    • Financial fluency across capital justification, P&L impact, and variance tracking.

    • Reasoning: Solve practical problems with limited standardization; interpret written, oral, diagrammatic, and scheduled instructions.
    • Software: AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Primavera, Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive.

    Compensation & benefits

    After thorough market analysis, LAPP takes many factors into consideration when determining base salary such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, etc. of the candidate. The base salary range for this role is $120,000 - $130,000 plus participation in LAPP's bonus plan.
