Schedule: 7:00 AM–7:00 PM, Monday–Friday

Position Overview
Our client is seeking a skilled Industrial Equipment Technician to join their manufacturing team. This position plays a critical role in maintaining and preparing specialized production components used in media manufacturing.

The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical or machining background, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to perform precision inspection, cleaning, rebuilding, machining, grinding, and polishing. This role works with highly specialized components where accuracy and quality directly impact equipment performance and finished product quality.

The Industrial Equipment Technician will receive extensive hands-on training and will have the opportunity to participate in 1–2 months of specialized training in Germany.

Key Responsibilities
  • Disassemble, clean, inspect, and rebuild melt blown forming components and beams
  • Perform precision cleaning using specialized equipment, including robotic pressure-washing systems
  • Inspect critical components using magnification and precision inspection tools to identify wear, damage, and defects
  • Maintain and track component condition, history, and lifecycle through serial-number tracking systems
  • Ensure rebuilt components meet established quality and performance standards before being returned to production
  • Identify and report component issues that could negatively impact production quality or machine performance
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and assemble melt blown forming equipment and components
  • Machine, grind, and polish melt blown nozzles to precise specifications
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and print specifications
  • Inspect components for dimensional and geometric requirements, including parallelism, flatness, concentricity, and surface finish
  • Use precision measuring instruments, including calipers, micrometers, and comparators
  • Ensure adequate replacement parts are available to minimize production downtime caused by equipment or component quality issues
  • Maintain organized work areas, tools, components, and storage systems
  • Follow all safety procedures, standard work instructions, and quality requirements
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to component inspection, maintenance, and repairs
  • Manage multiple components and workflows while maintaining a high level of accuracy and organization
