Industrial Equipment Reliability Technician

Compensation: $18–$24 per hour

Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday, overtime available

You arrive on the floor to a humming line and a maintenance log already queued up. First stop: a preventive check on a conveyor—tension, bearings, sensors. Mid-morning, a pump starts to chatter. Lockout/tagout is applied, a diagnosis is made, parts are swapped, and production is back on pace. After lunch, you consult schematics to trace an intermittent electrical fault, document the repair, and finish the day setting a new machine in place for tomorrow’s upgrade.

What you’ll tackle

  • Keep industrial machinery and production equipment running through preventive and corrective maintenance.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues to reduce downtime.
  • Identify root causes of failures and complete timely repairs to stabilize production.
  • Perform routine inspections and scheduled PMs.
  • Replace or repair motors, bearings, belts, pumps, sensors, and related components.
  • Read and interpret equipment manuals, schematics, and technical drawings.
  • Assist with equipment installations, adjustments, and upgrades.
  • Document all maintenance and repair work accurately.
  • Follow OSHA requirements, lockout/tagout, and all company safety procedures.
  • Maintain clean, organized work areas, tools, and equipment.

What you bring

  • Hands-on experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance.
  • Strong mechanical troubleshooting ability.
  • Electrical troubleshooting experience preferred.
  • Working knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics.
  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic instruments.
  • Self-directed approach with urgency when equipment goes down.
  • Excellent attendance and reliability.
  • Comfort standing, bending, climbing, and lifting throughout the shift.
