Description

Job Title: Industrial Engineering TechnicianJob Description

The Industrialization Engineering Technician supports the transition of new or modified products and processes into production. This role collaborates closely with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure efficient, scalable, and repeatable production solutions. The technician plays a key part in equipment setup, process validation, documentation, and continuous improvement efforts. The IET projects confidence in their industrialization knowledge as they are the subject matter expert (SME) for product manufacturability. The IET utilizes best practice engineering and operations methodologies and provides expert technical guidance to ensure sustained high-quality, cost-effective production.

Responsibilities

  • Support the transition of new or modified products and processes into production.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams.
  • Ensure efficient, scalable, and repeatable production solutions.
  • Set up equipment and validate processes.
  • Document procedures and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for product manufacturability.
  • Utilize best practice engineering and operations methodologies.
  • Provide expert technical guidance to maintain high-quality, cost-effective production.

Essential Skills

  • Manufacturing engineering technical expertise.
  • Industrial engineering technical knowledge.
  • Experience with cycle counts and process improvements.
  • Electrical engineering skills.
  • ERP system proficiency.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • 3 years of experience as an industrial engineering technician.
  • Associate degree.
  • 3 years of experience with ERP and process improvements as part of the manufacturing engineering team.

Work Environment

The position is on-site and is a contract role until the end of December. Two positions are available, with the potential for one individual to be hired permanently.

This is a Contract position based out of Waukesha, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
